There is a brand new photography magazine being published called "Obscura Craft" that centers around alternative processes. If you are interested in alternate processes, you might want to check it out. The first issue is available on Etsy and looks to be really good. They are still working on the logistics of subscriptions, but you can order the first issue now. The first issue features the cover and feature article by the forums own Emil Schildt (Gandolfi). I'm also really happy to announce that I'm one of the featured photographers in the second issue coming out in September and will be on the cover.

The second issue of the magazine is now out both digital and hard copy and it looks great. If you are an alternative photographer or just interested in other processes, I highly recommend the magazine. The owner/producer of the magazine is a very fine photographer in his own right and puts together really interesting articles plus the image quality is much better than the big commercial photo mags. You can find it at Urbanwisewearables.etsy. Note that I don't have any financial connection to the magazine. I just find it a real good photo magazine and would like to promote it. Plus, there is an article of my work in this issue and I'm on the cover!

The owner/producer of the magazine has cut ties with Etsy due to shipping issues and has opened up a site on Facebook where you can find info on the Obscura Craft magazine. The second issue is now ready for shipping.

Sounds promising. But, is there any other way to purchase copies or to subscribe without having to deal with Facebook?

Thanks,

Ed

Ed,

Their website appears to have options for single issues and subscriptions: https://obscuracraft.com/

Appreciate the help, Jeff, and a great big DUH from me for not thinking of that! :( I just assumed that it would have been mentioned had it been available. Well, here's hoping that this was the biggest mistake I'll make all week!
