I was ready for a screed but fortunately it wasn’t that. On the other hand it does gradually go off the rails in the usual way.

As an aside the condenser superiority thing was a bit strange. Not sure any of that holds water but anyway.

Yes, they way they reproduce dust, scratches and other defects is incomparable. No wonder those Adams and Sexton prints are so bad. They used/use diffused light sources in their enlargers. :)

No, the condenser superiority thing doesn't hold water. And yes, this does go off the rails in the usual way.
