Jobo print question

I haven't developed prints in a Jobo drum in a very long time. I'd like to develop some 8x10 Ilford RC paper negatives in a 2830 drum in with a CPP-2 + Lift. I'll just develop one sheet at a time. With film, the reels are loaded with a plastic tube core, and that core fits onto the Jobo top. Does one need to use one of these black cores when developing prints to keep the drum light tight? I can't seem to find the info in any of the manuals.

Jobo made a plug that fits the inside funnel of the lid, if you lack that you can use the tube I believe to keep it light tight.

Also, they made a cup that snaps in the lid for the print drums

I have just bought a JOBO 2830 to develop 8x10 sheet film. It has a cup with a volume of 0.4 liters, which can be screwed into the lid. It came with 8 clips to separate the negatives. 4 of these clips have a kind of wing. Does anyone know what these are used for? As separation or as a stop to prevent the negatives from sliding upwards?

Jobo documentation is sometimes hard to find. Seems that they came perilously close to going totally out of business in the late 1990's and a lot of whatever documentation was available online disappeared.

Some has been restored to the Jobo USA site, but I don't think it all survived this dangerous period.

Unfortunately, you'll probably only find answers in online forums from actual/past users.

The clips with wings are intended to stop smaller prints from migrating when you load a lot (say multiple 4x5 in drums that will do it). The simple clips are to help retain the paper in the channel.
