I'm looking for a lab that still enlarges 4x5 and 8x10 color negatives.
Any response appreciated,

I would recomend Chromatics Photoimaging in Nashville, Tn., But I don't know if they do enlargements directly from a 4x5 or 8x10 neg.I believe they would have to do either a flatbed scan or a drum scan, its your choice, but you could call them and ask.

Chromatics will do this digitally and do a fine job. They do still print wet B&W but for color its all scanned and printed on one of several high-end printers. Several different choices of scanning methods as well. You'll be pleased with their work, I have used them for years.

I know of many labs that will do it digitaly but I'm really looking for traditional optically enlarged from 4x5 and 8x10 color negatives.

I would recommend calling Spectrum Photo in Berkley, MI. (248) 398-3630 The owner, Laszlo Regos, is a very fine architectural photographer who maintains a wet lab for his own work and offers the service to others. He is a pretty fussy guy when it comes to quality and so I entrust all my LF color processing to him.

The only one I know of is Forstöringsateljéen in Stockholm, Sweden. They take negatives up to 20x24" too...
