View Full Version : Kill threads after the second page...

I haven't seen anything worth reading or participating in after the second page -- usually they just devolve into pissing matches between two or three stubborn individuals, of whom at least one has really poor reading/social skills.

You could just lock them after 50 or so posts... it save bandwidth.

(Just an observation, not serious, I rather like watching the blow-outs sometimes.)

I dunno, I thought the High End Digital thread was stillborn to begin with but to each his own. Two of those guys droaned on for at least 20-30 back and forth brickbrats. And they like to write longwinded posts...

Perhaps check out the picture post thread then :D

Is there a problem with bandwidth?

Sorry, never mind, you guys are right. I was more trying to comment that a lot -- but not all -- of the longer threads get stupider as they go on.

Now, that's a FACT!

Let's see if we can spin this out to 50 posts, just to annoy Frank :)
Maybe there should be a prize for post No 50...?

Nah, the prize goes to the 51st post, but only if it contains useful, on-topic information. ;)

If I set my options to 2 posts per page, will this thread self destruct now?
