Picked up this lens quite a while back but just never had the time to test it out:

Brass GUNDLACH - MANHATTAN OPTICAL CO. ROCHESTER N.Y. WIDE ANGLE 11x14 with rotating stops.

Focal length looks to be about 195mm. f/stops marked 1 to 6, I calculate to be f/16 to f/128. Front elements about 340mm and rear elements about 380mm. Convertible lens? I'm guessing not.

My current go to WA lens for 11x14 is a 200mm f/6.5 TAYLOR-HOBSON Cooke Series VIIB Wide Angle Anastigmat. I think that it, for sure?, post-dates the 195mm Gundlach by maybe 50 years.?

Any info on this lens would be most appreciated...

Good evening from Tokyo, Greg.
Isn’t it this series?
It’s RR and covers 100 degrees.
This series is not convertible and predates TTH VIIB as this series is listed in the 1896 catalogue.

The catalog value for 11x14 is
7.5 × 25.4 = 190.5mm EF
Lens diameter 1.625 × 25.4 = 41.275mm
I think this diameter is of the whole lens, not of the opening.

Looks to be the same model lens with just different engravings on the barrel.
thanks for the info,
