Hi!

My P2 is at home :-)

I need your help with a couple of details.

Fresnel -----
Before asking again, I've looked for a similar thread but I've only found this one:
https://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?158268-Sinar-P2-Bright-screen-w-Fresenl-replaced-with-OEM-Sinar-GG

So ... please, how can I remove the fresnel screen of my P2? I've read the manual and it seemed quite easy :( No way.

Depht of Field scale (DFS) ----
My DFS is not readable. I mean, the scale has nearly been erased with use (I guess). Is it possible to find a replacement?

Thank you.
Regards
Antonio

The screen is just pressure fit on. It should pop right off.
You can see one: http://summilux.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=42907

Does yours not look like that?

I would ask Sinar about replacement depth of field scales.

In portrait mode, with the screw on the Fresnel on your right, the screen is held in place by a catch just below the screw. Hold the screw and depress the catch. The screen will release.

Did they have them for you at a reasonable cost?

I don't know still. They've asked for part numbers and I've asked them how can I find them :( Anyway, they're very willing.
I'll keep you updated :-)
