Heidelberg Tango upgrade seeking advise

Is it advisable to upgrade from my Heidelberg F4200 flatbed scanner to a Heidelberg Tango drum scanner? I'm interested in hearing your insights and experiences on this matter.

If to spend more money - sure :)
If to improve certain qualities in scanned images - then it depends, and only you will be able to answer the question. Send your most challenging films to one or more of experienced Tango operators and see if the difference makes it worthy.

I've heard that there are only slight differences in scan quality between the Nexscan F4200 and Tango scanners. However, I'm personally interested in experiencing these differences firsthand and conducting a side-by-side comparison to evaluate the scan quality. To do this, I'll need to send my film to a drum scanning operator, as you suggested. The cost difference between these two options isn't significant in Europe.
