Thanks David. The Machine shop is located in the Hagley Museum ( http://www.hagley.lib.de.us/ ) on the shores of the Brandywine River, in Wilmington, DE, USA. It was the site of the origional DuPont Gun Powder Mills; and a very interesting spot. The machine shop is still in operation to this day - using all of the origional old equiptment. Jordan, once in a gallery, your sidelinks (thumbs) are not working.
This is not the place for those discussions, but very briefly, it looks as if you have not configured your GoLive right, so the menu script is pointing to a file on your local hard drive instead of relative to the root of the site.
If you need more info, let's discuss it elsewhere.

This is a narrow street here in Dundee. Unfortunately the pic isn't as good as it looks as the focus is off in the distance. I'll reshoot it properly at some point. It is best just after a rain shower when the cobbles are still wet.

Thanks, guys. I wasn't expecting any comments, but....
The coastal image was made on Delta 100 with my Ebony SV45U. I scanned it in my Epson 4870 at home!
On my site, most are with the Canon 1Ds, but my 4x5 work got good enough for me to show about a year ago, and there are probably a dozen there now from LF work. I rarely blend images, but I know there is at least one that I blended. While I like to think that I can use a camera fairly well now, the ultimate snap and pop that many of my images have is from post processing. I've been using photoshop for over 10 years. However, sometimes you just get what you want with the camera and it's there.

A test shot I took today using a new box. This is Rusty, a hurricane survivor. Rusty showed up on the side of the road scrounging for food the week after Hurricane Francis blew in. He is a super guy and does not mind helping out his photographer mommy when asked to. The Cooke was shot wide open and Rusty stood still for ¼ second. BTW, the new Arca Field with Orbix is great. I really do not know as I live in south Florida and ordered over the phone.
So being around all the used gear did you spend your pay check there? In college I worked for an upscale housewares store and bought all my props there. When pay day came they "owned" me. Funny thing though, that was thirty years ago and every once in a while I find some kitchen gadget (i.e., a melon baller :) ) that came from that store. My husband thought he was marrying a serious cook, boy did he learn fast, or should I say he learned to fast. ;)

Everyone seems to be listing their lenses, etc... I don't know why it would matter - but from what I recall these ones were 210mm sinaron/NPS, 150mm symmar (?)/T55, 55mm micro-nikkor/FP4 and 150mm symmar/T55 - respectively.

Lordy. I have a looooong way to go. Anyway, I've got no shame:
Hindu cremation site, Trinidad W.I. The stakes were once prayer flags (Jhandi), now worn down to just wooden protrusions in the water. Each represents the passing of a soul.

Thank you. That was Ilford HP-5 Plus, developed in Pyrocat HD. I have gotten away from that film, however, due to its rather abrupt "toe".

Two recent (within the last month) images, both 8x10 contacts...
The eyes were done with a 150mm Konica GRII on the last of my HP5+. It's my preferred film, but on a high school teacher's salary, it's been priced out of my range...
The fog image was done on Arista.edu ultra 200, about half the price and still a nice film, with a 300mm Tessar. Both developed in HC110, stand development in a tray.

Hey Mark,
Great shots, especially since I read the 150mm Konica GRII will just barely cover 8x10. The Eyes image is very creative to my taste and the Fog shot has a bit of nostalgia in it. Thanks for sharing your work. :)

Darr ~
(with apologies to all for inserting a technical note into an image thread...) My 150mm GRII will not quite cover 8x10; I can barely nip every corner on the same negative at infinity. Others say their GRII's will cover, but I *know* mine won't. But that's okay for me; as a process lens, it's optimized for close-ups, so it makes a great quasi-macro, especially at the prices these lenses go for...
And thank you for the compliments! (Did you notice the big heart-shaped opening in the trees?)

Eric
The large ones I posted are linked directly to the image file from my website images folder. This means that if I delete the file or move the website and directories to a different server, than the image will no longer appear here.
As for the small thumbnails, these are created by this particular message board software. These specific images are actually uploaded to the server where this website is hosted. So in theory, these images will always be available as long as the site and server are running.
Hope this makes sense.

I loved toget out and shoot some pictures in the early summer (Kansas) of my favorite subjects. Found this windmill. After taking the picture I told my son that I made a mistake and didn't have the post to the side of the windmill in focus and missed it by a couple of feet. Positive came back and sure enough, the post is soft. Love the way transparency film allows the hues of the sky to turn out compared to prints. Again, thanks for sharing. I'm saddened to see these buildings in this state, but it doesn't surprise me. A couple of years ago, I went back to the town in Germany where I was stationed in 1979, and it was in the same shape. I guess that it is just the march of time and getting older that makes these images strike me the way they do.

Thanks. Packard shutter so about 1/5 sec with f11 waterhouse but I'm at about 44+ bellows so effective f22 or so. Film was 125 Ultra.

Andrew:
The church in the second picture from left. Is the convergence intentional? Do you prefer parallel verticals, but the camera back doesn't support it? Just curious.
Eric.

Hi Eric,
It was intentional. I sometimes like a little convergence. This old church which was built in 1905 by First Nations, is not sitting too square in all planes. The other little church in Shulus was corrected...it didn't look right with convergence. I usually go with what feels right...I guess I could never be an architectual photographer!
Thanks for asking.

Wow. Alabama Hills looks very similar to Stone City on top of the Ridge at Cathedral Provincial Park up here in BC, Canada. I don't know what it's like getting to Alabam Hills, but the trek to Stone City is a killer.

The Alabama Hills are the foot hills of Mount Whitney. You drive right thru them on the way to it.

Taken last summer with Polaroid Type 55 using the 4x5 back on the Dorff and the 12 inch Commercial Ektar. This is from my work in the Kansas Flint Hills.

Alex,
What is the black oval shape on the left edge? I find it a little distracting.

That looks like the wind-shield on a cattle feeder. But Alex can say for sure.

It is a cattle feeder. I like it there. Its part of the scene.

Alex, you inspired me to post some more pictures. I go out into the Flint Hills also. See if you recognize this place? Taken with a Speed Graphic, Velvia 50 film, 90 Optar lenses. This was the last shot of the day in the hills.

All kinds of rock houses can be found in the hills. I stumbled upon this one while driving around with my wife. Again, a 90 Optar and Speed Graphic.

One could certainly do a book on the native limestone houses and barns in this area. Good to see another member from Kansas.
