Hi, can anyone please help me to identify the model no. of this camera? I think it's a Mark VI - can anyone please confirm or deny? Thanks very much. Steve

http://mppusers.co.uk/wordpress/ Most of the site is behind a paywall. I haven’t
paid, can’t see the technical information so can’t evaluate. Reading the forum,
which has little activity, is free. An old version of the site is accessible at
https://web.archive.org/web/20140107165017/http://mppusers.com/ If you’re
desperate for information about an MPP press or view camera, go to the new site,
ante up and hope that what you want is there.

You also could join the UK Large Format Photography forum and ask there: https://www.5x4.co.uk and ask there.
Nice looking example.

Thanks for the links Dan. Already interesting to see that a similar model was £90 new without lens. I'll have a further click around. Cheers

Thanks David. I've joined that forum and will ask there. It took a while to register as I was stumped by the verification question: "what comes next. . . dev, stop ?" You'd think if they've abbreviated developer then they'd abbreviate the final stage too - apparently now. Third time's a charm and I passed! Cheers

You did it quicker than I did!

What's the serial number (it is usually on the back top right corner of the main body behind the GG back - rotate the ground glass back to expose the corner.

The VI had serials 6001-7519, and the VII serials 7700-11764 (Data from Basil Skinner's book).
