LPL 7450 Repair

My LPL7450 light is no longer functioning and requires repair... I know this is a long shot but does anyone know of a resource for enlarger repair located in the Pacific Northwest, particularly Vancouver Island.

If not, is there a source for the transformer and other electrical componets for the light system that can be ordered... and if that is the case who do you take the equipment to... is it the 'toaster guy' or do you call in an electrician?

I'd do it myself but somehow I envision the situation would end up with the odor of ozone wafting about me and incurrance of the nickname "Sparkey".

Annie, I believe that OmegaSatter is the official US distributor for LPL - you might want to give them a call - they are located in Maryland though......

... sure did... first one was definately a burn out... tried a replacement... nothing.
