Hey there,

first post here, I'm looking to sell a lens that I'll never use, unless I build or buy a camera for it, my 8x10 would need a lot of help just supporting this lens.
As the title of the post points out, it's Dallmeyer 3A soft focus lens, late 1800's. I've attached a quick pic but can add more if requested.
Glass is in decent condition, one tiny bit of fungus and a bit dirty internally (thouse I'm sure easily cleaned), barrel is obviously aged, but it is brass and could probably be recovered. Rack and pinion is missing, aperture blades move well but a little stiff, I assume replaced waterhouse stops. I don't want to force anything so I have not tried to move the barrel.
Does anybody have any recommendations.

Valuation is not allowed in this forum. Ask elsewhere like a FB group.

Please edit your last sentence so “value” request disappears. If you use the search engine you will get lucky as you have been a member since 2015 and can access the “for sale” sub-forum.
Difficult to make any suggestions - there are two different basic models. More itemised photos would help.
