I have a roll of film holder flap tape, but do not know what type of glue to use.
anyone have experience on this.
Duct tape works, but only if you don't mind redoing every few (very few) years.

hi don

i've never used the tape you have. i usually use bookbinders tape. the last time i put tape on holders i used bookbinders tape ( and it was back in 1991).

if you decide to "change tapes" you can find bookbinders tape at places like
http://www.gaylord.com/ and http://www.talasonline.com/ .

sorry i couldn't be of any real help.

good luck
john

Use Pliobond from Micro Tools or something similar.
I use clear watherstrip cement from the auto parts store. It's similar to PB. You can also use the yellow kind but it tends to be messy. These glues are reversible, in that they don't set hard as a rock.

Don: Calumet has tape for this, thin, self-adhesive, I have not had to redo any of the ones I used it for. Depending on the camera, gaffers' tape, which sticks very well but is thicker, may cause interference on the left side of the holder on the spine and prevent it from seating.
