Super cool! Post lots of pictures. You know I have one of the crazy Deardorff Commercial 11x14 cameras and stand similar to your beast.

I plan to, I think we are on a similar wavelength
That is a 8" OD 5" ID Sync Packard
Hard to find
Hopefully my back relents and I can hand saw 4 lengths of Balsa wood
Got the hole done today
I also have an interesting dark cloth lens shade support
Made in Japan and fits perfectly, I even got tiny screws for it

Seems there are more Deardorff variations
Found what I think is a copy camera
Be very careful what you buy

Back in the late 1970s I once saw an ad in SHUTTERBUG for an 8x10 Deardorff that was selling for a price that was too good to pass up on. Contacted the seller and asked him to send me (pre-Email and attachments) a small photograph of the camera. Got the photo and the 8x10 Deardorff must have been a copy camera. The only movement of the standards was the front one moving back and forth to focus. Passed on acquiring it. Around that time I almost bought a used special order 4x5 Sinar Norma that had no movements except for the standards moving back and forth. I was for use above a microscope. Fortunately I found a Nikon Multiphot for a fraction of its asking price.
