I like this very old and simple design

Bent wire

operates very easily

That was the one thing I really liked about my 8x10 Seneca Improved. I never tried to do that in any of the cameras I've built.

I heard about this a few years back and wondered if I could have my Gandolfi 5x7 modified.
It was always too tight and could easily move on the tripod when inserting a holder.
So I called Richard Ritter to see if he could or would help.
The price was right, it works fine and I’m sold on the concept.
Not quite as cool as your Seneca, but functional. Thanks for starting this thread, I’m just sorry others didn’t pick it up.

I bought and sold a new Chamonix 11 X 14

A very nice camera

I did not like their Double Bail Back

It did fit my handicaps
