I have a green Calumet 8 x 10 camera but missing the normal 8x10 back. It came with the 4x5 reducing back. If some one would be so kind as to provide a few views of their back such that I could design a replacement I would be very grateful.
I have a cnc mill and full workshop to work with. I was also going to make up a Graflok back so I could use several of my Graflex roll holders.
Thank you in advance.

Here's an old Calumet brochure, provided I can attach it somehow. I don't see a way to attach a pdf file in this forum, will try email.

I don't see a way to attach a pdf file to email you through this board. I tried advaced, but no go do to file size restriction.

I consider the C1 Green or Black the best back made, early was Magnesium, later Aluminium, same castings
Simple Bail Lift that locks open
Ventilated for less dust and air pressure
I am not fond of the fixed tailboard, with long rail obstruction
Amost holds my heaviest lens, they never got that correct
I use the 3 backs on HD Copy camera for Macro

I have the C1. From looking at the second pdf from the links at the bottom; I'm wondering if I would get better results wearing a white dress shirt and tie. Like the three men grouped around the ground glass as if they were viewing an iPad. Outdoors, I apparently need a sport-coat with that ensemble. I wonder if the many times I've been chased away by security at some buildings in urban areas I would have had better luck if they would have seen me as a professional wearing something other than a Germs t-shirt. Like Don Draper, "You can't photograph that building, but I can."
I seldom wear my Fedora when photo graghing
i do wear a worn ball cap to stop glare
and backwads for GG viewing
and I am growing MORE hair

In the winter I always wear a fedora when photographing. In the summer I wear a ratty cowboy hat to protect my face and neck from the sun. But that's also cuz I'm bald. The nice thing about larger hats is that they raise the darkcloth higher so it's not drooping in your face.
I have many hats
I recall in the 1960's some thought they caused baldness
I also like them as props

A Toyo 8X10 back off a parts camera would be great on the Calumet. I have been sizing up how to do it using an adapter plate and the existing bolt attachments. This would make a nice versatile camera with lots of available accessories and a smooth bail.
