I have recently acquired a Korona 5x7 camera with a 210mm lens.
The camera only has front rise on the front and some forward/backward tilt and swing on the rear.

Can the rear tilt movements be used to help improve depth of field if required?
Please excuse my silly questions.

Hi Keith, yes, rear tilt and front tilt are basically the same thing, though you need to be careful where you use each movement.

If you're referring to Scheimpflug to change the plane of focus, then rear/front tilt will work.

There are advantages in using rear tilt for Scheimpflug as the image circle doesn't move, but you introduce distortion to close-by subjects.

Thanks Mike, that's what I hoped as the camera doesn't have any forward tilt. I will only use movements sparingly and only as necessary.

Camera movements are the biggest reason that I use a large format camera.
