The Dallmeyer Perfac is a low budget clone of the Zeiss Tessar. It has good optical quality with no surprisings. The reduced speed of f/6.3 gives the lens a larger angle of view than the faster Dallmeyer Tessar: the Serrac f/4.5

This kind of lenses were produced from nearly all lens makers in the 1920th a.f.y.

I guess the Dallmeyer lenses are the most expensive of it but not really better or different, it is a Tessar copy and nothing else.
Buyers pay for the name of the lensmaker and the dealers forcing the legend but there is no magic in the lenses, only glass and metall ;-))

I hope you have a reason to support your statement here.
Quick glance to Perfac era pricelists from various UK lens makers tells a different story.
