The Eikonar were the Rodenstock answer of the Goerz Dagor.
The f/12 Eikonar is a wide angle lens in the design of the Wide Angle Dagor but more rare. I have had one in 160mm focus length and this in 200mm which is more interessting because of its very large image circle.
Rodenstock mentioned an angle of view of 105° that give an image circle of ~500mm or 20 inch.
Today I made a mounting flange for it and a test shot.
I guess it will be interesting for you to see a real picture taken with this lens. I donŽt find any other in the www.
Fujifilm X-Ray UM-MA film
Size 18x24cm
Developed in Wehner Developer.
I used f/12
Front swinged a little bit in both axis.
Sinar with rear lens shutter.
1/2 sec.
