Hellos -
Im looking for recommendations. For this project 'super' quality is not as important.
I need a #0 shutter lens that is 190mm and above - 190, 200, 210mm
The lens has to cover 4x5.
Many sales on the bay dont indicate shutter size.
thnx !

Not many options at that focal length range.
Nikkor M 200mm comes to mind. Plenty of coverage for 4x5.

The 240mm Fujinon-A was in a Copal 0. The 260mm Apo-Congo was in a Seikosha 0.
Fujinon has five lenses from 180mm to 300mm that use a #0 shutter:

The pickin's are slim.
There are also barrel lenses that you could use with an adapter/step-up ring.

The Nikkor 200 M is superb on 4x5. But the 180 Fuji A actually has a bigger image circle, and is likewise tiny. Nearly as small is the 250 Fuji A, still in a 0 shutter, yet capable of 8x10 coverage. I use all of these, and all of them ARE top notch optically.

Not sure you use a Fujinon 250mm A… maybe a 240mm, but not a 250mm.

Hi Lachlan. I also have a G-Claron in the same nominal focal length as my mid-range Fuji A, so am always mixing up 240 with 250. But I didn't mention the G Claron because it's in a no. 1 shutter; at least that I always remember.
