I've seen multiple people adapt Hektor 1:2.8 300mm projection lenses for use on 8x10 camera systems, but all of the examples I've been able to find here and elsewhere have been silver (https://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?141108-Hektor-300mm-f2-8), and the one time I found a Hektor with the same black finish and silver housing, it was actually 1:2.5 200mm and adapted for a much smaller system (https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4593741).
This lens has the "correct" 1:2.8 300mm markings, but I've been unable (so far!) to find any confirmation that it is, indeed, the same model as the silver version just with a different finish. Anyone familiar with variations of the 300mm lens? Would this indeed be usable for 8x10 adaptation, or is it possibly an entirely different model that's not suitable for LFP?

Thanks in advance for any insight you might be able to provide.
