Upon further consideration, the thread in question has been removed.

There is no prohibition against posting strong criticism of a product. But how it is said, and how one responds to others who raise questions in return or express a different view, makes all the difference.

And it's not reasonable to come out with guns blazing if you haven't given the vendor a chance to assist with troubleshooting - or without acknowledging if the vendor has in fact tried to assist.
