Treat it as new.
Unless it was stored in hot condition, it should be fine. Expose and develop a sheet or two, judge the quality and go for it.

The film's latitude should take care of any loss of speed.

I have been using film expired in 1999...a slower film then FP4+, which does help.

should be no problem. I am holding 9 boxes of 12x20 fp4 expired over 10 years ago and need to figure out what they look like. :D

FP4 is remarkably stable for many years after its stale date. You may not need to compensate for its age at all, or maybe just give it an extra half stop exposure and develop normally. I was given a box of FP4 that was 15 years out of date and it performed as if new.
