This is my first time posting to this forum. I saw that you purchased these plates from Howard Glass. Can you give me some more specifics on the type of glass you purchased, as well as thickness? What is the general cost per sheet once you purchase 200 plates?

I made a mistake on my order

Right now I cannot connect to Howard

I bought the cheapest Float glass green glass, perhaps 1.6MM thick, polished edges

I hope you have your holders, so you can measure to fit

I made mine 'film" size

You want 'Plate' size

What holders do you have

They vary

I forget the cost, I bought min

Thank you for your help. I found what you are talking about. It is the Soda Lime glass 1.6mm. Part number Item # SL-07. I am planning on using Zebra dry plate or J. Lane holders. I am planning on making mine the same size as J. Lane dry plates. 100mm x 127mm I don't have a large format camera yet, but am making these plates so they will fit once I get one. I am practicing just coating commercial emulsion (Rollei) on some hand cut 4x5 plates for now. I will must be making positives on my enlarger to test out printing on glass. I have plans and have purchased everything needed to make my own emulsions, and already made my own D76 developer.

Very exciting news!

I highly suggest the polished edges, as they do a great job

All plates are clean as can be! Packed with clean white HARD paper, no dust, no particles

Polished edges aid in emulsion adhesion

You may want a tiny bit thinner as I have some issues with 1.6mm

I also cut mine down to fit smaller
