I managed to "auto-correct" the original mis-spelling from the context. I suspect auto-correct was the cause of the original mis-spelling.

Once on a photography forum, maybe this one, I saw "shutter" rendered as "shitter". Guessing that wasn't an artifact of auto-correction. Maybe the poster was having trouble with his shutter so the spelling was intentional:rolleyes:

Missed that thread on the forum formerly known as apug.

Recently asked Zacks about sending in a shutter and he asked me to hold off a couple of weeks, then asked PCW (Bob Watkins). Reply was to go ahead and send it in. So looks like they are busy out there but it's not quite like trying to get your roof fixed when you live in a rural county...;)

If Carol is offering 20% off I wonder if it means her wait list isn't so long these days. Couldn't get the request on her website for old shutters for parts to go away, so couldn't easily read what she had to say beyond, yes, 20% off through September.

I was communicating with Carol earlier today via email. She was prompt and helpful in her responses. I just got back from shipping her one of my Copal shutters that needs some of Flutot's TLC/CLAC.
