I am beginning to develop an interest in some of the antique brass lenses. My interest is in shooting 4x5 and/or 8x10 (what I have). Initially I will use film, but eventually dry plates. Don't think I have it in me to do wet plate.

Is there a reference source for any of these lenses online? I know a few names and lens types but I am looking to deepen knowledge a bit more.

Not specifically Darlot, but here are some links online for catalogs.
I’m sure you know Dan’s site.

For Voigtlander petzvals, I have been working to study them here.
The pdf flowchart gives you the overview.

Google book is a great resource too. The recent OCR technology advance is awesome.
