Hey Dave,
I think he may have made as many as 10 or so, I really don't think there were more than that, probably fewer. He got going with 16x20 around the time he'd sold a few 14x17s, and that was kind of that. He never really marketed 14x17, they were always make to order*. but he did advertise the 16x20s.
I know a couple people ordered 14x17s because I said I had ordered one, saying it was "basically half the size (image area) of 20x24 but still big !"

(*Ron and I were having a drink in the hotel bar at Photo West or some other trade show in the late 90s and I mentioned 14x17 as a format I had dabbled in with Xray film doing cardboard box pinhole photos and thought would be cool to explore further. He told me he had a custom 14x17 Traditional order that was "half done" but the customer had backed out. I eventually placed an order to have that camera finished for me. Wisner-isms ensued, but I eventually got a camera and enjoy the format to this day, but no longer own anything made by RW)

Thanks Tracey, they are beautiful, nice format. Mine has also wide angle Bellows. I'm thinking of selling as I've moved up to 20x24 and had Richard Ritter make an additional 14x17 back .

My 3 NOS non medical Fidelity 14X17 are closer to 14X16"

Got them in trade here

Very well made, this winter, 'if man is still alive' (https://youtu.be/-GKX4iK1QPc) I will make a simple box with LONG bellows as I started 7 years ago

Gotta have goals!
