I have been offered a Mint 8x10 P2 with a 240 DB mounted Lens. What is the going rate for these used?

My guess would be $3300-$4200 in today's market.

On eBay the prices are distorted lower than the retail dealers. The DB lens isn't worth much because the of the lack of a shutter - maybe worth $400 -- the 8x10 P2 is going to still be under $2000 on eBay. The difference between mint and excellent is not as important on eBay either. Of course KEH and Lens & Repro will charge the $3-4K mentioned above.

An 8x10" P is likely to be under $1000 on eBay these days (mine was).

It is unbelievable how little a P2 is worth today. I have a professional photographer friend who basically had to give his away, along with the DB shutters. Great camera.

saw a P 4x5, no accessories selling for just over 500 GBP today on ebay. there's a P2 4x5 from Germany with auxiliary standard, wide angle bellow 2 and rail extension offered for 2K EUR, but no bids so far. I think 3K$ for a P2 8x10 should work. the P today started at a very low price and doubled the price from about 250 GBP to the final price during the last few hours. OTOH the German one has probably not attracted any attention yet. it also depends on how long you can wait etc. BTW, shutters go for about 250$ (mechanical ones).

An absolutley mint, new-in-box 8x10 P2 went for $3,183.00 on ebay. No lens
