You gotta love 'em. Every time I am about to write these guys off as being too expensive or too slow, they surprise me. I talked to Adam on the phone about a job I needed done and he gave me a preliminary quote of x. I sent them the item and 4 weeks later got a call telling me that the new quote was 5x. I kvetched a little, but agreed to the new quote. A couple of days later I got another call from Adam saying my item was ready, but that he had brought in another machinist to look at the item and together they had been able to come up with a solution that they could do for the original estimate. I thought that was really nice. As always, their work is outstanding and ingenious. I look at some of the things they have come up on their webpage and amazed. Amazed at their ingenuity and amazed at how crazy some of you f***ers are! Wanting a Diana lens mounted into a copal 1 shutter for use on a view camera!! Wonder how much that cost?
