What's going on with Shen Hao?

All of a sudden, today, there are a ton of them showing up on EBAY. They all appear to be new but I don't have time or interest to check them out.

I wouldn't exactly call them "close-out" prices, but I'm no expert.

Almost $5k for the 8x10 models...prices seem the highest since the brands inception.

Maybe a reseller or they just decided to list some cameras on EBay to increase sales? The prices don't scream "close-out" to me.

It might be a result of Shanghai opening back up. Probably most people there weren't able to do any overseas business at all during lockdown, and when I visited the huge camera market there a few years ago, I saw several dealers selling Shen Hao (and prices weren't cheap!). Bet they're trying to make up for those lost months of business.

And actually, Shen Hao is based in Shanghai...thought so. Yes, this is probably because of Shanghai opening back up for business.
