I know I am going to get several wise ass remarks for my 2 part question but I will ask it anyway.

Part 1: Will a graflok back fit on a Chamonix 4x5 Camera?

Part 2: If it will, is there a particular model or version I should look for?

I am not familiar enough with the backs to determine the answer.

I have looked online at the usual places and it seems unclear to me if they will fit.

Thanks

Gary

A Graflok back means that you can detach the ground glass assembly from the camera and attach other accessories such as a roll film back to the camera.
I believe all Chamonix cameras have a provision built in to attach Graflok compatible accessories. In other other words it has a "Graflok back".
But I don't own one to verify this.

Graflok is a trade name of Graflex.
The term Graflok has become the de facto term for what is more properly known as "international" or "universal" back.
Much as all photo copies are Xeroxes, and all self-adhesive bandages are BandAids.

I don't have a Chamonix, but I assume they are available with an international back.

Yes, at least my 45H-1. I use it with several 6x12 and 6x9 roll film holders. Mainly to shoot slide film a bit cheaper that sheets
