Looking for a 450mm or 600mm lens for 16x20

Anyone have experience with a 450mm Nikkor M on 16x20? I'm trying to basically have a 205 - 210mm lens equivalent on 8x10 for 16x20.

Also any advice on a 600mm lens would be nice too! I think these two will be the lenses I start off with.

You might want to consider the Fujinon L 420mm f8. I've seen good reports, but it appears hard to find. There is also the Fujinon CM-W 450mm f8, the C 450mm f12.5, and the C 600mm f11.5 -- easy to find because the prices is so high.

I have the Nikon NIKKOR-M 450mm f9 Lens and shoot 16x20, and this lens does cover 16x20 at closer than infinity (I shot it at 10-50 feet).

I have the Fuji FUJINON-C 450mm f12.5 Lens, and I do not think that it covers 16x20. However, I have not tried exposing a sheet of 16x20 film to make sure... yet.

I have not tried the FUJINON CM-W 450mm f8 Lens. However, it is harder to find than the Nikon. And when I have seen it for sale, it is more expensive than the Nikon.

I have the Fuji FUJINON-C 600mm f11.5 Lens , and this lens does cover 16x20 at closer than infinity (again, shooting at 10-50 feet).

I had the Nikon NIKKOR-W 360mm f6.5 Lens, and it did not cover 16x20, even shooting at 10 feet. It vignetted badly.

Goerz RED DOT ARTAR 24" f11.5 Lens

The IC of the Fujinon C 450mm is 486mm -- so it covers 11x14 at infinity. How much of it is really usable is another story.

The IC of the Fujinon CM-W 450mm is 520mm -- still not enough for 16x20 at infinity.
