Some may remember actor 8X10 paper print Headshots

I made a couple in the last decade, none are left as I gave all prints to actors, I used to know many Chicago actors

They all needed 100's of 8X10 cheap paper prints, NOT mounted, used as free handouts

I recall Shutterbug ads for this service

I had a friend who had been a photographer in Hollywood during the '40's and '50's. Back in the days of black and white, I remember seeing these B&W photos in movie theaters during the '50's. He told me they were contact printed from 8x10 negatives in order to avoid having to be enlarged.

There used to be a lab in Hollywood called Quantity Photo. And that's what they did. I think the minimum was 10 8x10 prints from a single neg, but they regularly did 50 or 100.
