Hey all,

I'm working on an updated version of my field case for the 4x10 format. While it's more of an odd duck format wise, I want to update the design to be more synonymous with my Gen3 cases for 45,57 and 810 formats.
Seein that I only have a single 4x10 holder, a plastic one(likely Canham, made from 8x10 holders), I'm guessing a little on the dimensions of other wooden holders.
Since I know there are other "standards" that were used for this format(Wisner, etc), I wanted to ask here about the physical size of the physical holders(L x W x T)

If I could get some measurements, that would help me out a ton so I can make the pocket set and final fitment as accurately as possible to be able to accommodate as many holder sizes as possible with one single version.

thanks,
Dan

Hello Dan

I have a couple of the Chaminox 4x10 film holders I can send you measurements for.
Can you explain what dimensions you are looking for. L x W x T is asked for, what does the T represent

Hi Dan,

Thank you for the consideration, and willingness to send the holders. I received an email reply from a customer who sent dimensions on 4 different styles of 4x10 holders he has in-house, so I've been able to work with those dimensions(L-length, W-width, T-thickness) he's supplied.
So I'm gonna close out on this thread, unless for some unforeseen reason, there is something that comes up.

cheers,
Dan

FWIW, here are the dimensions of some Lotus 4x10 holders I have. Length to the tip of the darkslide handles is 12 13/16", width is 5 1/4", and thickness, including the locking ribs, is an eensy bit more than 5/8".
