Asahi Pentax digital spotmeter

Is there any difference between the Asahi Pentax digital spotmeter and the Pentax digital spotmeter. I'm assuming the Asahi one was made earlier, but are there any functional differences or reliability issues with the older model? Thanks.

Pentax was a brand of the Asahi Optical Co. They've since changed names to Pentax Corp. there was a redesign of the Digital meter to replace the LED EV number with an LCD display (see Robt. White's website), but older meters will be the same, I'd guess. Also see www.aohc.it (http://www.aohc.it).
