I have found out that the front bed of my Nettel Sonnet stays a bit opened when I try to close it, even if the bellows is fully pushed in.

I see that the front of the lens extrudes a bit, pushing the front bed out slightly.

The bed does close as it is quite flexible, but I am worried if this would eventually break down the hinge.

Is this normal to the Nettel Sonnet?

I have attached photos to help understanding...

I wouldn't force the front to close. If possible, I would remove the lens and shutter

Maybe just unscrew the front element to see if the body catch at the top of the box is working. It looks to be there on the body, but I can't see the matching piece on the door.

Thanks for the replies!!

I will remove the shutter if this is not typical for the Sonnet.

And yes, the bed does catch the latch.

I would also appreciate if someone who owns one could give an answer...!

Found out this is the camera's normal state.

Thanks much!
