Hi folks, I'd like to order some bellows to be made for a Linhof Kardan TL 8x10". I have the bellows frames only and I'm not certain about the official maximum length inches/millimetres?

I want to have the option of utilising the maximum extension without them being too short/stretched and also not too long/saggy.

I could just measure the distance between the standards but I'd appreciate any info. / advice before purchase.

Looking on a 8x10" TL on ebay, I conclude my rail is from a TL. It's 750mm and can not accommodate alone my Pentax 820mm on the back of a Ilex #5 shutter.

if the TL uses the same bellows as the GTL (which I'm pretty sure it does) you can get a premade bellows from a chinese ebay seller for under $200. you just have to mount the frames. I've used their bellows for several other cameras I have, and have been reasonably pleased.

As long as you aren’t using the longer rail accessory. Longest one I sold was a meter long.

Hi Bob and many thanks. I've put up another post that perhaps you could take a peek at?
