The official image circle of the SS HM 210mm is a little more than 350mm, is anyone here using the Super Symmar Hm 210mm and can tell how conservative the official image circle is ?
Is it the case that technically the image circle is bigger than the official number ?

The 120mm super symmar is going dark just outside the circle, I suppose it is similar with the 210, except the 120 has 82 degrees of coverage.

You might look in to the Sironar-W if weight is of concern and you prefer a f5.6 lens.

Thanks for the info! The Sironar W looks great weight wise!

The 210mm Apo-Sironar W is great! I have used one and its contrast is much better than the Schneider.

Several of my students used them on 8x10's, and I could tell from the contrast from across the room which was the Rodenstock.

Thanks for the feedback! The Rosenstock would be the right choice because of the size but the contrast makes it a no brainier!
