Hi!
I will have the opportunity to test a Universal Heliar 30cm in a camera shop to see if I want to buy it
I will be using a Sinar P and I need to make a flange to mount the barrel lens to the lens board, but I can't take it out of the camera shop to make the measurements
Does anyone know the diameter and thread specifications of this lens? I can't find it anywhere. I searched a lot of the forum post here about the lense but no luck
Thanks!

It may depend on the date of production.
My early 30cm Universal flange is definitely a 90 mm, but is not the common 1mm variant (like the Compound shutter V flange). It is more like a 1.5mm thread spacing.

Hi Steven, thanks for the reply.
This one serial number is #1032349219369
From the table in https://www.antiquecameras.net/heliarlenses.html it looks like it is from 1935
Do you think it can be the same model as yours?
Thanks

It is the same optical design - other Heliars became Dynars.
Mine is from the first batch, that didn’t yet have the “Universal” engraving. Serial number 251345.
