View Full Version : Dove head first into the abyss
As a follow-up to my new and need help thread, I purchased a mint Sinar Alpina with case and 135mm w fujinon lens. Looking forward to using it in the next couple of weeks. I know the Alpina is the entry offering by Sinar with a different rail, but all other accessories seem to work.
Is there any indispensable accessories you recommend?

Focus loupe comes to mind. A cable release makes things easier.

strong reading glasses, compendium lens hood. reflex viewer or dark cloth, some basic filters.

The single most important thing: Shoot with it.
Get used to manipulating the controls, load film, compose and focus, determine exposure, implement corrections if necessary, commit to the image capture . . .and trip the shutter.
Do it and learn from the negs/prints. Then do it again.
