Google says CSW is temporarily closed, no answer at their number. Hope its not permanent, he was open when I moved here in the 80's and always had great service . Where might I go for C41?
Maybe not, he has 'closed' before
He needs to get rid of his Flash 6 requirement
I used to use him

There's an interesting recent documentary about him here https://petapixel.com/2021/06/07/documentary-tells-the-story-of-the-last-remaining-chicago-film-print-lab/
At the bottom it states that the lab is closed indefinitely, but that there is an intent to reopen.
He is a character. Always a bit of a chat, almost as much fun as Central Camera
Chicago used to have many characters but,

Nicely done video, captures his personality. I hope he gets back to normal. Whenever I would go there, there was a steady stream of filmophiles bringing in work for him.

Delayed in adding this to the thread, but CSW is back open as of November. Go say hi. There are few places like this remaining in Chicagoland.
Oson can process C-41 for 4x5 and 8x10, but not 5x7. I am going to find out what he needs to be able to do this. Shipping 5x7 color film to Praus is wonderful, but I'm still on the steep part of the learning curve with color sheets and would prefer not to wait for shipping and delivery. Nevertheless, CSW is back!

I was there last week with film, it is so great, I am sure he encourages people to shoot film just by being open, I know I like to be able to drop film off and pick it up the next day. And the 5x7, I had the same question, how to get him what he needs to process 5x7, maybe its just a matter of the right kind of hangers.
