Has anyone tried fitting the 127mm and 135mm Raptars into the same Rapax shutter.

Just wondering if the threads on the 127mm and 135mm cells are the same diameter or different.

I have a Rapax shutter for a 135mm f4.7 Raptar that isn't exactly "jammed", but won't cock...feels like something is in he way of the cocking lever. If I can't fix it, I may be looking for a replacement shutter.
Bob.

I have interchanged them and it worked... f settings seemed the same...

The Rapax shutters are robust and respond well to cleaning and work well... Something is not resetting fully properly and probably gummed up, but will service well, if not damaged from forcing the controls...

Proceed as normal...

Rapax can usually be fixed with a CLA and they run a long time after that.

I sent this shutter in for repair but it was beyond help. As noted above, the 135mm cells use the same shutter as the 127mm lens. The scales are close enough that it shouldn't make a significant difference.
