Depends on the century and technology... 19th century (Daguerreotypes & collodion) was typically 4.25 x 5.5", 20th century (film) was usually 4.75 x 6.5". It seems to me that dryplate spanned both sizes.

Doing a little research I see there are different formats listed as half plate, but what is the most common half plate size? 6.5 x 4.25? Or something else?
why not measure your plateholders, then you know what to look for

I have a De Vere Half-Plate drop-in tray from a 54 enlarger (a tax dodge; I am told that if an enlarger could work with half plate it was not liable to Purchase Tax). The next smaller size that will fit is 4-23/32" x 6-15/32". I hope that this helps.
