Symmar 300/5.6 with electronic shutter

A frind offered me a beautiful lens for a very good price.
The only thing i dont like is the electronic shutter.
What is your experience with that kind of electronic shutter.

Super accurate from 32 to 1/250 seconds for the next 100 years. Care must be taken as with all electric equipment: do not immerse in water, keep extra battery and don't loose battery cover. Only buy if it works. I ordered new batteries and the missing cover for my Apo-Ronar 360 I paid €30 for.
