Accidentally developed Fujichrome Provia 100 in B&W chemicals

Long story short, a previous owner had mistakenly put in a package of Provia 100 (RVP100) 4x5 sheets inside a box of Kodak TMAX 400. I exposed them for 400 for some trial shots in my backyard and I developed them with HC-110 dil. H for 12 mins. I didn't know of this switcheroo thing until I pulled the sheets out of the soup. They were quite dark and obviously took me a few minutes to figure out what might have happened. I was almost ready to trash them. But on a second thought I scanned them and boy was I amazed at the results! The tones are simply outstanding, not to mention no grains.

There nothing wrong with these images! Would not have believed that it worked this good.

Times are probably the only surprise? I've been surprised by this, too, when my notes proved inaccurate and I've developed color film as B&W. It works.
