When members post, I can click on their name and get links to things like "View Profile," "Private Message," "Visit Homepage," and other things. When I click on my own name, I see only "View Profile," "Private Message," and "View Forum Posts," even though I have provided a URL for my web page in my profile. Do I need a different membership status or something to have a link to my web page come up when someone clicks my username?

After you click on "view profile", click on "about me".

Go to "About Me", scroll down and add your signature.

I don't see a choice under "About Me" for adding my signature. Hmmm...

Go to the far right of the page and hit "Edit About Me" . I think that is where you can add your signature.

Let me confuse the issue a little more. OK, on the far right of the "About ME' page, you will see "View your About Me as seen by everyone else. Tap on this and you will be given an opportunity to Edit Your Profile.

Check it now - try clicking on your user name.

No problem, sorry for the hassle.

In this as in some other respects, vBulletin is a chaotic mess. Evidently the URL needs to be in the signature field of the user profile for the "Visit Homepage" link to show up behind the user name. I *think* what happened is that if you didn't put in a signature line when you registered, you then can't see it as an option to update under "About Me". So there wasn't anything you could do yourself to fix it.

If anyone else has trouble with this, let us know - we can insert the signature info for you through the moderators' admin panel.
