my modern salt prints made using Fox Talbot's original process on 24lb, 100% linen paper, very similar to what he used, are a somewhat rich chocolate brown.

That was the most interesting part of the article... and it is good news.

I hope, though, that the successful buyer will be situated to put them on display for folks like us to see. Generally that means institutional buyers, who don’t fit that profile of being new.
