Hi

I have a Technika IV with the Kalart Focuspot attachment (as in pic). Any way I can get it off? I'm never going to use the rangefinder.

Will I need a milled screw cover?

Why take it off, it weighs nothing?

I don't know how your FP is attached but most have 3 little protrusions that fit where a cover once was.

I have those covers

I won't use the rangefinder, and it makes reaching the swing knob really awkward.

It’s not the rangefinder. Your problem is with the accessory focus spot.

Indeed. Sorry I wasn't clear in my description.

This is the MacGuffin I want to get rid of. I though it would just unscrew, but it's so tight, I'm not sure that's the way to do it.
