I thought Schiansky was just the tripods but I saw my first Schianskycamera today:

Schiansky, München. All-metal camera, plate size 18 x 24 cm, Voigtländer Heliar 4,5/360 mm (no. 2745722), Luc shutter US10 No. 38235. - Only 12 cameras in this series are believed to have been produced. - Very rare!

I dont believe this Schiansky is a camera fabricated at the Kamerawerke München. Very different architecture. Copare that to the Perka (http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Perka), or Silar (http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Silar) or Staeble (http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Staeble) cameras, all almost identical to the early Linhofs.

Yes I agree it does not have any of the hallmarks of a linhof camera. They did make rather similar looking tripod heads though..
