I was by a hiking trail in New Jersey. Right at the start where they have the bulletin board and little brochures showing the trail maps, they posted a book exchange box about two feet square on a pole where you can leave or take books. I thought that was strange for a hiking trail. But then again, why not?

We have one of those in a park behind our home. Lots of kid books cycle through. I think they're a great idea as is Ms. Milrany's idea to make hers a gallery.
